Our team has had the pleasure of serving the Foundation for Roanoke Valley (FRV) for more than 20+ years. We’ve produced annual reports, supported events, and managed PR and social media. For more than 30 years, FRV evolved alongside its sister organization, Martinsville Area Community Foundation. But gradually, the leaders identified a clear need to unify and clarify their brand and identity. After an extensive stakeholder discovery work session, it was decided that the organizations needed to rebrand under one new name and logo. Thus, the Community Foundation Serving Western Virginia was born to better reflect its mission and service area. We led the discovery process and engineered the rollout strategy to control both internal and external messaging. We also created a new logo, style guide, business papers, website, and annual report.
