The Creation of the ATDM Brand

THE OVERVIEW: It’s not every day that AccessU is asked to help protect the country. But that is exactly what we do every day through our work for the Accelerated Training in Defense Manufacturing (ATDM) Program. This one-of-a-kind program was specifically designed to meet a Department of Defense grant to help adult learners with varying educational and workplace experiences earn the skills necessary to make an immediate impact in the submarine industrial base (SIB).

THE CHALLENGE: Our team manages student enrollment, communications, and video development as well as national marketing, media, and public relations for this unique educational model. 

THE RESULTS: To support national enrollment and ensure job placement, we created a robust, data-driven website featuring an innovative job portal to help not only recruit but also to ensure that students are empowered to quickly and easily find lucrative careers for the in-demand jobs ATDM trains for in the SIB across the country. This hardworking portal scours more than 50,000 career websites each night to provide real-time job postings from the country’s vital submarine suppliers to help them get the workers they need.

As a strategic consultant for a nationwide Department of Defense workforce development program, I was part of the selection team in 2020 that helped pick AccessU to lead our marketing effort. AccessU has made a real difference for our program!
